EDMOND, Okla. – The receiving votes Central Missouri Jennies (10-6, 2-1 MIAA) fell to the receiving votes Central Oklahoma Bronchos (12-5, 2-2 MIAA) by a final score of 1-3 (22-25, 25-18, 22-25, 13-25) Friday, Sept. 25, inside Hamilton Field House in Edmond, Okla.
After dropping the opening set by a three-point margin, the Jens responded in the second with a convincing 25-18 victory, tying the match at one, ending the frame on a 7-2 run highlighted by four kills from outside hitter
Shaye Koski (11 kills and three digs overall).
The Bronchos regained the lead with another three-point win in the third, before earning their 12
th victory of the season in the fourth set, led by Georgia Ahlert's match-high 14 kills and six blocks.
Central Missouri was led offensively by fifth-year
Kaelyn McDonald's 12 kills on 30 swings (.300 hitting percentage), adding a career-best seven digs, and five total blocks, while Blue Springs, Mo. native
Maya Fergerson (four digs) and middle blocker
Bria Dawson (career-high four block assists) had nine kills each for good measure.
Defensively in the back row, the Jens were paced by libero
Ragin Corwin's 19 digs and six assists, plus Owasso, Okla. native
Kirsten Harper and junior
Brenna Kelly each collected eight digs on the night.

Bella Holcomb had a team-high 26 assists and seven digs, while freshman
Chloe Rauner contributed 10 assists and five digs in the match.
The Jens continue MIAA play on Saturday, Sept. 26, as they travel to Wichita, Kan., for a match up with the Newman Jets (5-11, 1-2 MIAA), with first serve beginning at 11:00 a.m., inside Fugate Gymnasium.
