No. 18 Jennies Soccer Blanks Ouachita Baptist Sunday, 4-0

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – No. 18-ranked University of Central Missouri Jennies Soccer completed an undefeated road trip to Arkansas with a 4-0, shutout victory over the Ouachita Baptist University Tigers on Sunday afternoon, Sept. 13, at Kluck Field.

The Jennies (5-1, 0-0 MIAA) are scheduled to host the Newman Jets (0-4-2, 0-0 MIAA) for their 2026 home opener on Sunday, Sept. 20, at 1 p.m. at the South Recreation Complex in Warrensburg.

UCM took a 1-0 lead in the 21st minute when Coryn Jespersen controlled a short pass from Hannah Borgstadt and slid the ball into the back of the net for her first goal of the season.

Central Missouri doubled its advantage to 2-0 in the 38th minute after Kara Robinson hammered a Jespersen corner kick home for her first collegiate goal. It was Jespersen's team-best fourth assist of 2026.

Hadley Lockhart made it 3-0, Jennies, with her second goal of the season off an assist from Maryn Clement in the 59th minute, and Borgstadt put an exclamation point on the match with her first collegiate goal via an assist from Habiba Lamrani in the 63rd minute.

Central Missouri goalkeeper Kristen Wright (5-1) earned the win between the posts after allowing zero goals while making one save in 75 minutes, while fellow goalkeeper Jamie Ricker had one save in 15 minutes and surrendered no goals to secure the fifth shutout of 2026 for UCM.

For the match, the Jennies outshot the Tigers (0-4-2), 20-6, including a 9-2 advantage in shots on goal, and bested Ouachita in corner kicks, 8-1.
