Jennies Soccer Wins Season Opener 1-0 against Missouri S&T

ROLLA, Mo.— Ryann Clark's lone goal at the 15th minute in the Jennies season opener was the game-winner against the Missouri S&T Miners, 1-0, on Thursday, August 27 at the Missouri S&T Soccer Field.

Jennies (1-0-0) travel to Springfield. Mo., to face Drury on Sunday, August 30th, at 5 p.m. 

Clark, a senior forward from Kansas City, Kan., shot a low center goal with no assist. 

The Jennies held the Miners goalless for the remaining 75 minutes to secure their first victory of the season. 

For the match, UCM outshot Missouri S&T (0-1-0), 9-5, including a 7-1 advantage in shots on goal. Central Missouri also bested MWSU in corner kicks, 4-2.

UCM goalkeeper Kristen Wright (0-1-0) earned her first shutout of 2026 and the  28th in her career between the posts.
