ST. JOSEPH, Mo. -- The Jennies golf team capped their season after the final round of their postseason run at the NCAA Central Regional on Wednesday, May 6th at the St. Joseph Country Club. The team went 98 (+30, +31, +37) over par for a total of 962 (318, 319, 325) to finish in 14th.
Ansley Giesselman led the Jeannies, who finished the event tied for 29th. Giesselmann posted a final round 78 (+6) to end the event 22-over par (238).
Senior
Libby Green finished tied for 40th at 25-over par (241). She carded a final round of 84 (+12), getting a birdie on the 17th in the third round.
Kiki Bruner and
Hannah Mottert were next for the Jennies, who both finished in 49th with 26-over par (242). Bruner played her final round as Jenny, posting an 85 (+13). Mottert carded a 79 (+7) in the final round, getting one birdie on the third hole.
Reece Nimmo, who entered as a substitute in the final round, posted a score of 84 (+12) with a birdie on the sixth hole.
