GREEN BAY, Wis. – No. 24-ranked University of Central Missouri Jennies Bowling's 2025-26 season came to a close on Friday, April 17, in the fourth round of the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) Intercollegiate Team Championships at The Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

The tournament opened for the Jennies on Thursday morning with qualifying, during which UCM earned the No. 9 seed and an opening-round contest against No. 8 seed Duquesne in the Red Bracket.

Central Missouri posted a 4-3 victory in the best-of-seven Baker match opener to set up a showdown with top-seeded and 2026 NCAA Women's Bowling National Champion Jacksonville State in the second round. UCM fell to the Gamecocks in the best-of-seven contest, 4-0, to drop into the elimination bracket, where the Jennies faced the No. 13 seed Savannah College of Art & Design on Friday morning. UCM dropped the contest, 4.5-0.5, to finish the tournament with a 1-2 record in bracket play and in ninth place.

Including qualifying and bracket play, the Jennies compiled an overall record of 6-3 for the tournament and compiled an average of 182.7. Haylee Bates (198.3 average) and Julia Speich (182.4 average) paced UCM individually. 

Central Missouri concluded its 2025-26 season with nine top 10 finishes, including winning the VUU Collegiate Invitational Championship in November. The Jennies compiled an overall record of 86-41 during the season and advanced to the ITC Championships for the 17th time in program history, which marked the 25th overall postseason appearance in the program's 25 years as a varsity program.
