NORMAN, Okla. – The University of Central Missouri Mules golf team is ranked No. 24 in the latest Bushnell/Golfweek Division II Coaches Poll, released Friday, March 6.
The Mules earned 45 points in the national voting following their performance at the Las Vegas Desert Classic. Central Missouri remains a mainstay in the Top 25, moving from their previous position at No. 13.
West Florida reclaimed the No. 1 spot in the poll with 401 points and seven first-place votes, followed by Lee (No. 2), Grand Valley State (No. 3), Florida Southern (No. 4), and Wingate (No. 5). Central Missouri is one of two teams from the MIAA represented in the Top 25, joining Central Oklahoma (No. 7).
The Mules will return to the course March 23-24 at the Arkansas Collegiate Tournament at Mystic Creek Golf Club in El Dorado, Ark.
The next Bushnell/Golfweek DII Coaches Poll is scheduled to be released on March 27.
