RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. -- University of Central Missouri Jennies basketball's
Reese Schaaf was voted to the Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) Women's Basketball All-Central Region First Team for the 2025-26 season, it was announced Thursday, March 12.
This is Schaaf's first D2CCA All-Central Region selection at Central Missouri and her second-career D2CCA All-Region nod, as she was a First Team honoree in the Midwest Region at Drury in 2024.
A senior guard/forward from El Dorado Springs, Mo., Schaaf averaged a team-high 19.2 points and 9.8 rebounds per game in UCM's 28 regular-season games. She posted double-doubles in 15 of Central Missouri's 28 regular-season contests and scored in double figures in 26 games during the regular season.
Entering the NCAA-II Central Regional, Schaaf leads the MIAA in field-goal percentage (.529), and ranks second in both scoring (19.1 ppg.) and rebounding (9.9 rpg.).
Schaaf was voted to the 2025-26 All-MIAA First Team and was a MIAA Women's Basketball Championship All-Tournament Team honoree.
Athletic Communications professionals from NCAA Division II Central Region schools and conferences selected the D2CCA all-region teams. The process concludes with All-America selections announced later in the month.
Jennies Basketball is the number four seed in the NCAA-II Central Regional and is slated to face fifth-seeded Washburn in the first round on Friday, March 13, at 7:30 p.m. in Mankato, Minn.
