Baton Rouge, La. – The No. 23 Central Missouri Jennies Bowling team closed out the 2026 TNBA Open with a strong championship run Sunday, finishing Tournament Runner-Up after a 2-1 performance in Baker match play.
The Jennies opened the day with a thrilling 4-3 victory over No. 4 Oklahoma Christian. After trading games throughout the match, UCM secured the deciding seventh game, 190-162, to advance.
Central Missouri carried that momentum into the semifinals, delivering a commanding 4-0 sweep of No. 2-seeded Jackson State to punch its ticket to the championship match.
In the title match, the Jennies faced No. 1-seeded and No. 14 nationally ranked Sam Houston State. Despite their strong bracket push, UCM fell 4-0 as Sam Houston completed an undefeated weekend to claim the tournament championship.
