BENTONVILLE, Ark. – The Central Missouri Jennies (5-1, 0-0 MIAA) split a pair of games during the opening day of the Alvy Early Memorial Classic, defeating the Drury Panthers (2-5, 0-0 GLVC) 4-2, before falling to the Southeastern Oklahoma State Savage Storm (3-4, 0-0 GAC) by a final score of 12-7 Friday, Feb. 6, from Memorial Park in Bentonville, Ark.
The Jens conclude the Alvy Early Memorial Classic on Saturday, Feb. 7, with a pair of games against the (Receiving Votes) Southern Arkansas Muleriders (7-0, 0-0 GAC) at 11:00 a.m., before a matchup with the Maryville Saints (1-2, 0-0 LSC) at 1:30 p.m.
Game 1: Central Missouri 4, Drury 2
The Panthers got on the board with a run in the top of the second, but Central Missouri answered back with a pair of runs in the bottom of the inning.

Aly Hageman gave the Jens a 3-1 lead.
Kyrsten Moran added an insurance run in the fourth, reaching on a fielder's choice that plated Blackmon as
Riley Bebb (1-0) earned her first victory in the circle as a Jen, allowing two runs on eight hits while striking out six Panther batters in six innings of work.
Bailey Brumley picked up her first save of the season, striking out a pair in the seventh, while Blackmon's multi-hit performance paced the Jens offensively.
Game 2: Southeastern Oklahoma State 12, Central Missouri 7
Both teams traded three-run frames in the second and third innings, highlighted by a two-run shot from
Cydney Fullerton that tied the ballgame.
The Savage Storm answered with two runs in the bottom of the third, before adding five in the fifth. Central Missouri plated four runs in the sixth, beginning with a Brumley solo shot before
Marisa Johnson belted her second homer of the year that scored Bucksath and
Teelie Super, but they were unable to complete the comeback.
Andi Siebeneck (2-1) suffered the loss in the circle while Brumley led the Jens offensively, going 2-4 in the ballgame.
