No. 25 Mules Basketball Enters NABC Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – With a 20-7 overall record and winners of six of their last seven contests, the Central Missouri Mules are ranked 25th in the latest NABC (National Association of Basketball Coaches) Poll, announced on Tuesday, Feb. 17.

During the month of February, Central Missouri has notched top-25 conference victories over the previously top-ranked Washburn Ichabods and previously ranked 25th Arkansas-Fort Smith Lions in Warrensburg. The Mules appear in the top-25 for the first time since the 2017-18 campaign, when they were also ranked 25th.

Central Missouri has four wins over ranked opponents this year, including the season opener against No. 10 Colorado School of Mines, before taking down No. 4 West Texas A&M during the River City Holiday Classic in San Antonio, Texas.

The Mules and Washburn are the lone MIAA representatives in the latest poll, as the Ichabods are ranked third.

No. 25 Central Missouri returns to the court on Thursday, Feb. 19, as they take on the Rogers State Hillcats (16-8, 10-5 MIAA), with tip-off slated for 7:30 p.m. inside the Claremore Expo Center in Claremore, Okla.
