KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletics Association announced Tuesday, January 20th Central Missouri wrestler
Trey Dillow was the Wrestling athlete of the week after his performance at the Roger Denker Open.
Dillow delivered a dominant performance at the Roger Denker Open this past weekend in Warrensburg, capturing the 149-pound title. The unranked redshirt freshman went 4–0 in the tournament, highlighted by a 6–1 decision over No. 11-ranked Cole Mayfield of Central Oklahoma in the championship bout.
Along the way, Dillow recorded an 8–0 major decision over Drury's Garrett Salt, a 4–1 decision against Reid Foster of Grand View, and an 8–1 victory over Kasen Miller of Central Oklahoma. Dillow was one of six Central Missouri wrestlers to claim first-place finishes at the event.
Dillow and UCM host its first home dual against Fort Hays State on Friday, Jan. 23, at 7 p.m
