MANKATO, Minn. – The No. 13-ranked University of Central Missouri Jennies Soccer team and Augustana Vikings (S.D.) played to a 0-0 tie in the 2025 season opener for both teams on Friday, Sept. 5, at The Pitch in Mankato, Minn.
The Jennies (0-0-1) are slated to face No. 3-ranked Minnesota State on Sunday, Sept. 7, at 3 p.m. in Mankato.
Central Missouri outshot Augustana for the game, 13-9, including a 7-4 advantage in shots on goal, and had a 16-5 advantage in corner kicks, but all combined 11 shots on goal for both teams were saved, keeping the match scoreless.
Mikayla Ernst had four shots, including two shots on goal, pacing the Jennies offensively.

Kristen Wright (0-0-1) went the full 90 minutes between the posts, making four saves.
Sydney Hage and Madelyn White each had three shots and one shot on goal, pacing Augie (0-0-1).
Augustana goalkeeper Taya Baker (0-0-1) went all 90 minutes in-goal and had a game-high seven saves.
