WARRENSBURG, Mo. – Third-ranked Central Missouri Mules baseball had its 10-game winning streak snapped after falling to the Northeastern State RiverHawks, 6-4, on Senior Day Sunday, April 27, at Crane Stadium/Tompkins Field.
The Mules (35-10, 26-7 MIAA) are scheduled to travel to Springfield, Mo., for a 6 p.m. midweek game at Drury Tuesday, April 29.
Vance Tobol and
Cole Kreisel both went 2-for-4 while
Cody Moore hit his fourth home run of the season, leading Central Missouri at the plate.
UCM starting pitcher
Bryce Taylor (2-2) suffered the setback on the mound after surrendering two earned runs on one hit in an inning.
Mason Ruiz went 3-for-4 with a homer and two RBI, pacing Northeastern State (14-33, 11-22 MIAA) in the batter's box.
NSU starting pitcher Izac Sizemore (3-3) earned the win on the rubber, giving up one earned run on seven hits with three strikeouts and one walk in seven innings.
