Myah Morris finished second in the triple jump, highlighting the final day of action for UCM Track & Field at the MIAA Indoor Championships Sunday, March 2, inside Hughes Fieldhouse on the Northwest Missouri State University campus.
Pole Vault
- Ulrich, a redshirt senior from Reeds Spring, Mo., captured his second consecutive indoor men's pole vault MIAA Championship after posting a provisional mark of 5.18m (17-0) on his first attempt.
Jumps
- Morris, a redshirt sophomore from Watertown, S.D., earned a spot on the podium in the women's triple jump, placing second with a provisional and personal-best mark of 12.12m (39-09.25) on her sixth and final attempt. Her mark ranks eighth-best in indoor school history.
Relays
Sprints/Hurdles
- Chard ran a provisional time of 21.39 to finish fourth in the men's 200m dash final.
- Parker Wormek placed fourth in the men's 60m hurdles final with a provisional time of 7.92.
In the final team standings, the Jennies placed fifth with 42 points while the Mules were sixth with 51 points. Pittsburg State won both men's and women's indoor titles.
The Mules & Jennies will now await word on who will qualify for the 2025 NCAA-II Indoor Track & Field Championships. The qualifiers will be announced Tuesday, March 4, on NCAA.com. The NCAA-II Indoor Championships are slated for March 13-15 at the Fall Creek Pavillion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis.
