The Jens return to the diamond on Sunday, March 2, as they take on the Maryville Saints (7-8, 0-0 GLVC) at 10:00 a.m. from Field #3, followed by a contest with the Minnesota State Mavericks (5-4, 0-0 NSIC) at 12:30 p.m. on Field #1 in the final day of the Top Gun College Classic.

Game 1: No. 5 Augustana (S.D.) 1, Central Missouri 0 (8 inn.)
The opening game of the Top Gun College Classic was a pitchers' duel between Augustana's Grace Glanzer and sophomore Brooke Weimer. The lone hit of the game for Central Missouri came off the bat of Emma McCall in the top of the third inning before the lone run of the game was scored by the Vikings in walk-off fashion as Weimer (1-4) struck out 10 batters for good measure.

Game 2: Rockhurst 7, Central Missouri 6
After trailing 1-0 heading into the bottom of the second, Central Missouri tied the game with an RBI single from Andi Siebeneck (scoring Bailey Brumley) before the Hawks answered with three runs in the top of the third.

UCM cut into the deficit in the bottom of the inning with an RBI off the bat of Marisa Johnson before taking the lead in the fourth on a Lexi Blackmon (first career home run) 3-run shot making it 5-4 Central Missouri.

The Jens added a run in the sixth thanks to a solo blast from Morgan Shields (her first of the season) before Rockhurst responded with three runs in the top of the seventh and never relinquished en route to the victory.

Emily Brouse (2-2) suffered the loss in the circle striking out seven Hawks batters in 4 1/3 innings of relief while Blackmon and Shields paced the Jens offensively with two hits each.
