Jennies Basketball Drops Contest at Arkansas-Fort Smith Saturday, 66-60

FORT SMITH, Ark. – University of Central Missouri Jennies basketball fell to the Arkansas-Fort Smith Lions, 66-60, in a MIAA game Saturday, Feb. 15, inside the Stubblefield Center.

The Jennies (14-12, 6-9 MIAA) are scheduled to host Rogers State (7-17, 1-14 MIAA) in a conference tilt Thursday, Feb. 20, at 5:30 p.m. inside the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center in Warrensburg.

Reese Schaaf tallied 19 points and 11 rebounds for her team-best 13th double-double of the season while Allie Clevenger also reached double figures with 17 points, pacing UCM in the contest.

For the game, Central Missouri shot 36 percent from the floor (23-of-64) and were 7-of-11 at the free-throw line for 64 percent.

Arkansas-Fort Smith (15-8, 9-5 MIAA) outrebounded UCM, 41-38, in the contest and outscored the Jennies in the paint, 26-24, and off turnover, 19-9.

Morgan Browning (17 points) and Zyniah Thomas (16 points) paced the Lions.
