Jennies Basketball Falls 74-64 to No. 8 Fort Hays State

WARRENSBURG, Mo. – The Central Missouri Jennies basketball fell to No. 8 Fort Hays State Tigers (18-2, 9-2) by a final score of 62-54 a MIAA game played Saturday, Feb. 1, inside the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center.

The Jennies (13-10, 5-7 MIAA) are scheduled to play the Washburn Ichabods (11-11, 5-7 MIAA) on Saturday, Feb. 8, at 1 p.m. from Lee Arena in Topeka, Kan.  

Taylor Weishaar led UCM with 17 points going 5-of-11 from the field adding five rebounds and a game-best four blocks while Reese Schaaf added 16 points and a team-high seven boards for good measure.
 
Central Missouri out-rebounded the Tigers by a margin of 34-31 as Allie Clevenger contributed 11 points and three rebounds on the afternoon.
 
The Tigers were paced by a double-double performance from Katie Wagner-DeGarmo who ended the contest with 26 points and 11 rebounds.
