Central Missouri never trailed in the ballgame, picking up its 11th victory of the season, resetting the single-game record for most triples in a contest with 22, overtaking the mark of 20 set during the 2016-17 season against Southwestern Oklahoma State (Nov. 26).

Five Mules ended the contest scoring in double figures, including a career-high 18 points, on a career-best 7-of-11 from the field, a career-high four triples, and a career-best four steals from sophomore Jake Fritz as Central Missouri eclipsed 100 points for the first time under head coach Adam Bohac.

The Mules shot 54 percent from the field in the ballgame, including 56 percent from beyond the arc as forward Carter Kaifes posted a career-high 15 points and a career-best three assists, while reigning MIAA Freshman of the Year Kyran Tilley had eight points, seven assists, and three boards in the winning effort.

Central Missouri outscored Maryville in four offensive categories, including points in the paint (40-20), off turnovers (19-6), fast break (15-8), and bench points (28-27), thanks to a career-best two triples from Fort Worth, Texas native Naz Brown, who added five assists and three rebounds.

The Mules controlled the paint as they grabbed a season-high 48 rebounds with the help of a career-high seven boards from sophomore Kyree Polk (two points and two assists), four rebounds from guard AJ Lux (three points), and a pair of rebounds from junior Noah Martin.

Central Missouri begins the 2026 calendar year on Thursday, Jan. 1, as they host the Emporia State Hornets (4-7, 0-2 MIAA) for New Year's with the Mules, with tip-off slated for 7:30 p.m., inside the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center in Warrensburg.
