In High School: Was a First Team 6A Kansas All-State player and DiRenna Award finalist for head coach Kurt Bangle at Mill Valley High School... Led the Jaguars to their first two 6A state tournament appearances helping them finish third in the 2023-24 season and was a three-time First Team All Sunflower selection... Is the school's all-time leader in rebounds while posting the second-most points and was a MoKan All-Star game selection for Team Kansas... Averaged 18.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 2.7 assists as a senior. 

Personal: Son of Eric and Melynda Kaifes... Has four older siblings who play collegiate sports including Conner (football at Pittsburg State), Catherine (basketball at Eastern Kentucky), Cooper (basketball at Samford) Claire (basketball at Marquette)... Majoring in Sport Management.
