TOPEKA, Kan. – University of Central Missouri Jennies Basketball outscored the Washburn Ichabods in the fourth quarter, 22-14, to help it post a 67-56 victory on Saturday afternoon, Dec. 13, inside Lee Arena.
The Jennies (6-3, 2-1 MIAA) are scheduled to travel to St. Louis, Mo., for a non-conference game on Monday, Dec. 15, at UMSL (7-2, 4-0 GLVC) at 5 p.m.

Reese Schaaf hit a layup and two free throws with 4:20 remaining in the fourth quarter.
Taylor Weishaar and Schaaf each had 24 points in the contest, leading UCM.
Schaaf went 7-of-10 from the floor, including a 3-of-4 showing from three-point range, and was 7-of-8 at the free-throw line for her 24 points, while Weishaar shot 8-of-17 from the field and 6-of-9 from the free-throw line for her 24 points.
Schaaf added 12 rebounds for her first double-double of the season and tallied a career-high six steals to go along with six assists.
For the game, Central Missouri shot 46 percent from the field (22-of-48), 40 percent from three-point range (8-of-20), and were 15 out of 23 at the free-throw line for 65 percent.
The Jennies outrebounded the Ichabods (6-3, 2-1 MIAA), 37-27, and bested Washburn in points off turnovers, 15-11.
Madelyn Amekporfor tallied 16 points, pacing Washburn.
