WARRENSBURG, Mo. – The No. 13 Central Missouri Jennies golf team captured first place at the Grace Shin Invitational on Tuesday, Oct. 7, in Edmond, Okla.
The Jennies posted rounds of 284 and 296 for a total of 580, finishing 12-over par to secure the team title. Arkansas Tech took second place at 583 for 15-over par, while Central Oklahoma finished third at 586 for 18-over par.
Senior
Mia Rallo earned her second individual title of the season, shooting 1-under par in the final round to finish 6-under par with a 136 (66, 70). Missouri Western's Saya Schweitzer finished second at 141 for 1-under par. Central Oklahoma's Scarlet Sturch and Northwest Missouri State's Clara Peake tied for third at even par with 142.
Madolyn Kost tied for 18th at 147 for 5-over par after shooting 75 in round two. Freshman
Ansley Giesselmann tied for 22nd with a 148 for 6-over par after rounds of 73 and 75. Senior
Kiki Bruner tied for 31st at 152 for 10-over par after a final-round 79, while
Libby Green tied for 37th at 153 for 11-over par after rounds of 77 and 76.
Competing individually, Addison Davis finished 24th at 149 for 7-over par after rounds of 72 and 77.
The Jennies return home to host the Midwest Classic from Oct. 13 to 14 at Mules National Golf Club in Warrensburg, Mo.
