EDMOND, Okla. – The University of Central Missouri Jennies sit atop the leader board after the Grace Shin Invitational opening round on Monday, Oct. 6, at the Golf Club of Edmond.
UCM carded an even-par 284 to take first place. Host Central Oklahoma is four shots back in second at 288 (+4), followed by Arkansas Tech in third with a 292 (+8).
Senior
Mia Rallo paced the Jennies with a tournament-best 5-under-par 66, giving her the individual lead heading into Tuesday's final round. Arkansas Tech's Ellen Spigner and Central Oklahoma's Grace Hall are tied for second at 3-under (68).
Madolyn Kost posted a 1-over 72, tying for ninth, while
Ansley Giesselmann and
Kiki Bruner are tied for 15th at 73 (+2). Senior
Libby Green finished the day tied for 41st at 77 (+6).
Competing as an individual, freshman Addison Davis matched Kost with a 72 (+1) and tied for ninth.
The Jennies close out play in the Grace Shin Invitational with the final round on Tuesday, Oct. 7.
