WARRENSBURG, Mo. – Ninth-ranked University of Central Missouri Jennies soccer posted a 2-0, shutout victory over the Rogers State Hillcats in a MIAA match Sunday, Sept.29, at the South Recreation Complex.
The Jennies (5-2-1, 2-0-0 MIAA) are scheduled to travel to Hays, Kan., for a 7 p.m. MIAA contest at Fort Hays State (5-1-2, 2-0-0 MIAA) Friday, Oct. 4.

Andree Orcutt scored the Jennies' two goals in the victory, with Joyce netting her second goal in two matches in the 28th-minute off an assist from
Lexie Ruf and Orcutt scoring her first goal of 2024 in the 48th-minute.
For the match, UCM outshot Rogers State (1-7-0, 0-2-0 MIAA), 20-6, including a 10-4 advantage in shots on goal. Central Missouri also held the Hillcats to no corner kicks the entire match while posting 13 of its own.

Kristen Wright (5-2-1) earned the win between the posts after allowing no goals while making four saves in 90 minutes.
Rogers State goalkeeper Marlou Freiling (1-3-0) suffered the setback in goal, giving up two goals while compiling eight saves in 90 minutes.
