Jennies Bowling Earns GLVC Academic Honors

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Central Missouri Jennies bowling earned several Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) academic honors for its success in the classroom during the 2023-24 academic year.

Academic All-Conference
Five Jennies earned GLVC Academic All-Conference accolades after compiling at least a 3.30 GPA during the fall and spring semesters of the 2023-24 academic year.
Academic All-Conference honorees: Myla Cathey, Camryn Cramer, Bree Heathscott, Tiffany Hediger, Jenna Speich

Team Academic All-Conference
Jennies bowling earned the GLVC Team Academic All-Conference honor after compiling a cumulative team GPA of 3.425 in 2023-24.

Brother James Gaffney Distinguished Scholar Award
Two Jennies earned the GLVC Brother James Gaffney Distinguished Scholar Award including Cramer and Hediger after achieving a perfect 4.0 grade point average during the 2023-24 school year named for Brother James Gaffney FSC, former President of Lewis University for over 28 years and two-term Chair of the GLVC Council of Presidents. 

Council of Presidents' Academic Excellence Award
Heathscott represented the Jennies as one of 541 recipients of the GLVC Council of Presidents' Academic Excellence Award, which is given to student-athletes who've exhausted their eligibility in their respective sport and maintained at least a 3.5 GPA throughout their academic career while competing in the conference for at least two seasons and completed 96 credit hours or more.
