PITTSBURG, Kan. – Central Missouri Jennies track & field's
Rachael Molloy earned All-American honors in the women's weight throw highlighting the first day of action for UCM track & field at the 2024 NCAA-II Indoor Championships Friday, March 8, at the Robert W. Plaster Center on the Pittsburg State University campus.
Molloy, a redshirt senior from Carrollton, Mo., posted a personal-best mark of 19.38m (63-7) on her fifth attempt to finish in fifth place and earn her second-career All-American accolade in the weight throw. Her mark is second-best in UCM Indoor Program history.
The Mules'
Parker Wormek ran a personal-best and school record time of 7.77 to finish third in the men's 60m hurdles prelims and advance to the final on Saturday.
UCM track & field will continue action in the NCAA-II Indoor Championships Saturday, March 8, beginning at 10 a.m. CT.
Saturday,
Kayla Goodwin will compete in the indoor pentathlon and triple jump,
Evans Yamoah will compete in the high jump,
Reagan Ulrich and
Charlie Garino will compete in the pole vault, and Wormek will compete in the 60m hurdles final.
