TOPEKA, Kan. – Four players homered as No. 3-ranked Central Missouri Mules baseball won its 11th consecutive game, cruising to a 16-4, seven-inning victory over the Washburn Ichabods in game two of a three-game MIAA series Saturday, March 16, at Falley Field.
The Mules (22-3, 11-1 MIAA) will look to complete a series sweep of the Ichabods (13-10, 8-4 MIAA) in the series finale scheduled for Sunday, March 17, at 1 p.m. in Topeka.

Max Holy and
Brennen van Breusegen all hit home runs in the win. Holy went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run, double and five RBIs while van Breusegen was 4-for-5 with a solo homer, double and four runs batted in, leading UCM at the plate. Tobol added a pair of hits, including a solo home run and triple, and had a pair of RBIs.

Jake Wilson (2-0) earned the win on the mound for Central Missouri, allowing three runs – two earned – on seven hits with three strikeouts and zero walks in 5 2/3 innings of work.
UCM scored in five of the seven innings in the contest, while also posting an 11-8 advantage over Washburn in hits.
Cash Jay was 2-for-4 with a home run and double, pacing the Ichabods offensively.
Washburn starter Cooper Carlgren suffered the setback on the rubber, giving up eight earned runs on six hits with three strikeouts and two walks in 2 1/3 innings.
