RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. -- University of Central Missouri Jennies basketball's
Brooke Littrell was to the Divsion 2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) Women's Basketball All-Central Region Second Team for the 2023-24 season, it was announced Thursday, March 14.
This is Littrell's third-career selection to a D2CCA All-Region team.
A redshirt junior guard/forward from Green City, Mo., Littrell led the Jennies and the MIAA in scoring with 20.3 points per game and a .893 free-throw percentage (134-of-150) in her 28 games played and started during the 2023-24 season. She also led the team in rebounding with 8.5 rebounds per game and posted a team-best 12 double-doubles on the season.
During UCM's victory over Northeastern State on March 2 in Warrensburg, Littrell, an All-MIAA First Team honoree, became just the third player in UCM women's basketball history to score at least 2,000 career points. Through the 2023-24 season, she has 2,046 career points in the Red and Black.
The 2023-24 Jennies compiled an overall record of 21-8 and finished sixth in the MIAA with a 15-7 conference record.
