WARRENSBURG, Mo. – The Central Missouri Jennies (8-13, 1-3) dropped a pair of games against the Minnesota State – Moorhead Dragons (11-7, 0-0) by final scores of 5-2 and 2-0 on Thursday, March 14, from Jennies Field at the South Recreation Complex in Warrensburg.
The Jens return to the diamond on Friday, March 15, as they continue a 12-game homestand with a doubleheader against the Bemidji State Beavers (6-11, 0-0) with first pitch of game one scheduled for 3:00 p.m. from Jennies Field at the South Recreation Complex in Warrensburg.
Game 1: MSU-Moorhead 5, Central Missouri 2
The Dragons opened the contest with a run in the top of the first inning, but Central Missouri tied the game in the third taking advantage of an MSU-Moorhead error as shortstop

The Dragons answered with three runs in the fourth and a solo run in the sixth before UCM's right fielder
Lexi Blackmon plated Allnutt thanks to an RBI single through the left side of the infield. Redshirt junior
Paige Petefish (2-5) suffered the loss in the circle while third baseman
Halle Howes, Blackmon, and Allnutt paced the Jens offensively.
Game 2: MSU-Moorhead 2, Central Missouri 0
MSU-Moorhead scored a run in the top of the second before adding an insurance run in the sixth as freshman
Brooke Weimer (3-5) suffered the loss in the circle for the Jens allowing four hits, two runs (both unearned) while striking out six Dragon batters as first baseman
Breanna Newton, Blackmon, and Sheffield paced UCM offensively.
