WARRENSBURG, Mo. – Central Missouri Jennies basketball team won a 77-44 decision to the Lincoln Blue Tigers Saturday afternoon, Feb. 3, inside the UCM Multipurpose Building.
The Jennies (15-5, 9-5 MIAA) are scheduled to play Pittsburg State in a MIAA contest Wednesday, Feb. 7, at 5:30 p.m. inside John Lance Arena in Pittsburg, Kan.
Ashley Tull ended the contest with career-highs in points (26, going 9-of-11 from the floor), rebounds (eight), and steals (four). Redshirt junior Olivia Nelson had 15 points, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals in the winning effort.
For the game, UCM shot 52 percent from the field (30-of-57) and were 4-of-13 from three-point range (30 percent) and 13-of-17 at the free-throw line (76 percent).
The Jennies out-rebounded the Blue Tigers (6-14, 2-12 MIAA), 41-22 while outscoring them in the paint (46-16), off-turnovers (22-8), and off the bench (42-5).
Ashlyn Alloway had 20 points pacing Lincoln.
