Jordan Jr. Leads Mules Basketball Past Rogers State 75-57

WARRENSBURG, Mo. – The Central Missouri Mules (12-15, 7-14) defeated the Rogers State Hillcats (16-11, 13-8) by a final score of 75-57 on Thursday night inside the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center in Warrensburg.       
 
The Mules began the contest on a 16-3 run and never relinquished as they picked up their 12th win of the season led by freshman Tim Jordan Jr.'s career-high 25 points, going 8-of-13 from the floor including 3-of-4 from beyond the arc adding a career-best three assists, and two rebounds. The Mules outscored Rogers State in numerous offensive categories including points in the paint (36-28), points off turnovers (22-15), and off the bench (18-16) for good measure.
 
Central Missouri received key contributions from guard Jordan Hayes' career-high 14 points, going 7-of-8 from the field adding seven rebounds, five assists, and a career-best four steals while freshman Corey Skillman Jr. (career-high six rebounds) and redshirt senior Keith Kiner III (five rebounds) ended the night with 11 points each.
 
Forward Noah Martin had five points and a career-high three assists, plus junior Jalen Knott added four points and two steals. Forward Yafet Haile had four rebounds and three points and redshirt senior Caleb Nero contributed two points in the winning effort.
 
Central Missouri returns to the court on Saturday, Mar. 2, as they conclude the MIAA regular season hosting the Northeastern State RiverHawks (11-16, 6-15) at 3:00 p.m. for Senior Day inside the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center.
