TOPEKA, Kan. – The Central Missouri Mules (11-15, 6-14) fell to the Washburn Ichabods (17-9, 13-7) by a final score of 68-49 on Saturday afternoon inside Lee Arena in Topeka.
The Mules began the contest on a 7-2 run, but Washburn responded with a run of their own and never relinquished the lead picking up their 13
th MIAA win of the season led by guard Jarmell Johnson's 14 points and five rebounds.
Central Missouri was paced offensively by redshirt senior
Keith Kiner III who had a game-high 14 points adding a team-best six rebounds while guard
Jalen Knott added 12 points, three rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

Noah Martin (career-high five rebounds), and junior
Jack Chapman (two rebounds) ended the contest with six points each. Guard
Caleb Nero contributed three points, two rebounds, and two assists while junior
Yafet Haile had four rebounds, a career-high three blocks, and two points on the afternoon.
Central Missouri returns to the court on Thursday, Feb. 29, as they continue MIAA play hosting the Roger State Hillcats (16-10, 13-7) at 7:30 p.m. inside the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center in Warrensburg.
