One contestant will be drawn prior to each game to participate in the half-court shot giveaway. Entered contestants will be notified of their selection on the Monday prior to each game.

Each selected participant will be given three chances to make a half-court shot at their assigned game.

If only one participant makes a shot during the duration of the challenge, they will be entitled to receive free tuition (general fees included) for the fall 2025 semester, following the application of any pre-existing scholarships.

If multiple participants each make a shot, they will all be asked to return to the final Mules/Jennies doubleheader on Feb. 22, 2025, to compete in a final shootout for the grand prize. The first participant to make a half-court shot during halftime of that competition will receive free tuition (general fees included) for the fall 2025 semester, following the application of any pre-existing scholarships. If any two or more students make a shot within the same number of attempts, the shootout will continue featuring only those contestants until we have a sole winner.

If no participants make a shot, all participants will be invited to return to the final Mules/Jennies doubleheader on Feb. 22, 2025, which will feature a half-court shot attempt from President Best. If Dr. Best makes his attempt, the value of the scholarship is to be divided evenly amongst the prior competitors that are in attendance for the Mules/Jennies final home doubleheader.
