WARRENSBURG, Mo. – University of Central Missouri Jennies basketball posted a 74-48 win over the Avila Eagles in a non-conference game Tuesday, Nov. 26, inside the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center.
The Jennies (6-2) are slated to face Hawaii Pacific University in the first of two games in the Hoops in Hawaii Classic Friday, Nov. 29, at 8:30 p.m. CT in Honolulu, Hawaii.
 After leading by six points at halftime, 40-34, UCM outscored Avila in the third and fourth quarters, 34-14, to cruise to the 26-point victory.
Allie Clevenger netted a game-high 18 points on 5-of-10 shooting from the floor, including a 5-of-9 performances from three-point range, and a 3-of-4 showing at the free-throw line while
Taylor Weishaar added 15 points and nine rebounds, and
Reese Schaaf posted 12 points and nine rebounds, rounding out the Jennies in double figure scoring.
For the game, Central Missouri shot 53 percent from the floor (29-of-55), 38 percent from three-point range (6-of-16) and were 10-of-17 at the free-throw line for 59 percent.
The Jennies outrebounded the Eagles, 30-28, and outscored Avila in the paint, 38-18, and off turnovers, 23-3.
Marlie Wright had 13 points to pace Avila.
