KEARNEY, Neb. – The Central Missouri Mules (6-6, 1-5) defeated the Nebraska-Kearney Lopers (5-7, 2-5) by a final score of 76-73 on Saturday night inside the Health & Sports Center in Kearney, Neb.
Nebraska-Kearney led by nine at the break and by as many as 15 in the second half, but the Mules took the lead for good with a layup from guard
Jalen Knott (18 points, six rebounds, three steals, and two assists overall) with one minute to play as head coach

Keith Kiner III led the way with a career and game-high 32 points going 14-of-17 from the field adding a team-high eight rebounds, a team-high four steals, and three assists for good measure. Guard
Jordan Hayes contributed a season-best 12 points, four rebounds, four assists, and two steals while freshman
Tim Jordan Jr. had eight points and three rebounds respectively.
Rounding out the scoring for the Mules was forward
Yafet Haile (four points) and redshirt senior
Caleb Nero (three points and two assists) who each grabbed four rebounds in the winning effort.
UCM returns to the court on Wednesday, Jan. 10, as they continue MIAA play hosting the Washburn Ichabods with tip-off scheduled for 7:30 p.m. inside the Multipurpose Building in Warrensburg, Mo.
