WARRENSBURG, Mo. – The Central Missouri Mules (7-6, 2-5) defeated the Washburn Ichabods (9-5, 5-3) by a final score of 82-71 on Wednesday night inside the Multipurpose Building in Warrensburg.
The Mules controlled the pace for most of the opening 20 minutes of play taking a nine-point lead into halftime highlighted by guards
Caleb Nero (14 points, two assists, and two steals overall) and
Corey Skillman Jr.'s 11 points each.
Skillman Jr., a freshman from New Orleans, La., finished the contest with a career-high 17 points overall connecting on 6-of-7 shots from the floor including a perfect 5-for-5 from beyond the arc.

Tim Jordan Jr. contributed 16 points, five rebounds, two assists, and two steals while junior
Jalen Knott had 13 points, five rebounds, and two assists respectively.
Central Missouri out-shot the Ichabods by a margin of 53.1 to 44.4 percent from the floor and 52.2 to 40 percent from three-point range as redshirt senior
Jordan Hayes had 12 points, a team-high seven rebounds, two assists, and two blocks in the winning effort.

Keith Kiner III collected six points, five rebounds, and two assists, plus junior
Yafet Haile ended the contest with four points and three rebounds respectively.
UCM returns to the court on Saturday, Jan. 13, as they continue MIAA play hosting the Emporia State Hornets with tip-off scheduled for 3:00 p.m. inside the Multipurpose Building in Warrensburg, Mo.
