No. 17 Jennies Roll Past Washburn Wednesday, 84-71

WARRENSBURG, Mo. – Brooke Littrell netted a team-high 24 points as No. 17-ranked Central Missouri Jennies basketball rolled past the Washburn Ichabods, 84-71, Wednesday, Jan. 10, inside the UCM Multipurpose Building.

The Jennies (11-3, 5-3 MIAA) are scheduled to host Emporia State (7-6, 4-3 MIAA) Saturday afternoon, Jan. 13, at 1 p.m. in Warrensburg.

Littrell went 9-for-16 from the field and a perfect 5-of-5 at the free-throw line for her team-best 24 points while snagging eight rebounds and dishing out a team-high four assists. Olivia Nelson added 14 points, Allie Clevenger had 13 points, and Lauren Frost tallied 11 points, rounding out the Jennies in double figures.

Graycen Holden pulled down a team-high nine rebounds, while Frost added a team-best four steals.

UCM shot 46 percent from the field (30-of-65), 33 percent from three-point range (6-of-18) and were a perfect 18-of-18 at the free-throw line. Central Missouri outrebounded Washburn (10-4, 5-3 MIAA), 38-36, and outscored the Ichabods in the paint, 40-32, and off turnovers, 24-5.

Aubree Dewey had a game-high 28 points, pacing Washburn.
