Jennies Basketball Earns Spot on WBCA Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll

ATLANTA – University of Central Missouri Jennies basketball ranked No. 22 on the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) NCAA Division II Top 25 Team Honor Roll for the 2022-23 season, the organization announced Tuesday, August 1.

UCM compiled a team GPA of 3.694 in 2022-23 and were one of just three MIAA teams to appear in the rankings. Fort Hays State ranked No. 6 with a 3.805 GPA while the Jennies were No. 22 and Northwest Missouri was No. 23 at 3.690.

In order to qualify for the WBCA Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll, teams must carry at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

The Jennies posted an overall record of 25-5 and finished second in the MIAA with a mark of 19-3 during the 2022-23 season.
