FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Claire Luallen,
Kayla Goodwin and
Reagan Ulrich all tallied top-10 finishes to lead the Central Missouri track & field team at the John McDonnell Invitational Friday, April 21, at John McDonnell Field on the University of Arkansas campus.
Jumps/Hurdles
- Luallen won the women's long jump with a provisional mark of 5.89m (19-4) and finished ninth in the women's 100m hurdles with a personal-best time of 14.43.
- Goodwin placed fifth in the women's triple jump with a provisional 12.34m (40-6). She also finished 11th in the women's 100m hurdles with a personal-best time of 14.56.
Pole Vault
- Ulrich finished seventh in the men's pole vault after clearing a provisional height of 5.00m (16-4.75).
Running Events
- A pair of Jennies finished in the top-15 of the women's 800m run. Jana Shawver ran a provisional and season-best 2:13.17 to place 12th while Katie Bean finished 13th after posting a personal-best 2:13.49. Bean's time ranks 10th-fastest in school history.
UCM track & field is scheduled to compete in the Pittsburg State Tune Up Saturday, April 22, at Carnie Smith Stadium in Pittsburg, Kan.
