RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. -- University of Central Missouri Jennies basketball's
Brooke Littrell was voted to the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) All-Central Region First Team, it was announced Thursday, March 9.
This is Littrell's second straight season of being named to the D2CCA All-Central Region First Team.
The 2023 MIAA Women's Basketball Player of the Year, Littrell leads the No. 11-ranked Jennies with 18.8 points and 8.7 rebounds per game going into the NCAA Divsion II Central Region Tournament. Her 18.8 points per game is second-highest in the MIAA while her 8.7 boards per game ranks her third in the conference. The guard/forward from Green City, Mo., also ranks in the top-five of the MIAA in field-goal percentage (3rd at .501) and free-throw percentage (4th at .828).
Entering the NCAA-II tournament, Littrell has scored in double figures in 50 consecutive games and has a team-best 11 double-doubles.
With her first team selection, Littrell is now eligible to appear on the D2CCA Women's Basketball All-America ballot. The 2023 D2CCA All-America Teams will be announced March 19.
Athletic communication professionals from NCAA Division II Central Region schools and conferences selected the D2CCA all-region teams.
The NCAA Division II Conference Commissioners sponsor the All-Region teams.
