SAN MARCOS, Texas – Madi Wulfekotter finished runner-up in the women's pole vault to highlight UCM track and field at the Bobcat Invitational Friday, March 31, at the Texas State University Track & Field Complex.

Pole Vault

• Wulfekotter cleared a provisional mark of 4.20m (13-09.25) to secure her second-place finish in the pole vault. Her mark is the top mark in NCAA Division II so far this season.

Throws

• Trenton Flug and Michael Waldron recorded top-10 performances in the javelin at the Bobcat Invitational. Flug placed ninth with a mark of 55.64m (182-7) while Waldron was 10th with a mark of 53.20m (174-6).

Sprints

• Katie Bean placed ninth in the women's 800m run at the Bobcat Invitational with a personal-best time of 2:12.39. Her time is ninth-fastest in school history.

The Mules and Jennies are slated to wrap up action at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays and Bobcat Invitational Saturday, April 1.
