AUSTIN, Texas – Brayden Blackman,
Kayla Goodwin and
Claire Luallen all posted personal bests in their respective competitions to lead Central Missouri track & field at the 95th Annual Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin and the Bobcat Invitational at the Texas State University Track & Field Complex in San Marcos Thursday, March 30.
Hurdles
- Blackman ran a personal-best 54.72 to finish 25th in a field of 53 in the men's 400m hurdles at the Texas Relays. Connor McKee also competed in the event, placing 36th with a time of 55.67.
- Goodwin finished 34th out of 76 competitors in the women's 400m hurdles at the Texas Relays, posting a personal-best time of 1:03.20.
Jumps
- Competing in the Texas State Bobcat Invitational, Luallen compiled a personal-best and provisional mark of 5.93m (19-5.5) to place second in a field of 29 in the women's long jump. Her mark ties for fifth-best in school history and is the 10th-best mark in NCAA-II this season.
Sprints
- Running in the Texas Relays, Jana Shawver finished 16th in the women's 800m run with a time of 2:15.53.
The Mules and Jennies are scheduled to continue competition in the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays and Bobcat Invitational, and open action in the Washington University Distance Carnival (Washington, Mo.) and CMU Invitational (Fayette, Mo.) Friday, March 31.
