KEARNEY, Neb. – The Central Missouri Mules (11-12, 7-10) fell to the Nebraska-Kearney Lopers (5-18, 3-14) by a final score of 78-72 on Thursday, Feb. 9, inside the Health & Sports Center in Kearney.
After trailing 34-32 at halftime, the Lopers responded in the second half shooting 68 percent from the field led by Sean Evans' team-high 23 points.
Central Missouri was led by redshirt junior
Garrett Luinstra's career-high 30 points, making a career-high 11 baskets on 16 attempts while adding four rebounds and two steals. Guard
Trey Sides also ended the contest in double figures with 10 points, two assists and two steals respectively.

Mikel Henderson had nine points and five assists while forwards
Ben Fritz (team-high nine rebounds) and
Gaven Pinkley (five rebounds and a career-high four assists) added seven points each.
The Mules return to the court on Saturday, Feb. 11, as they take on the Fort Hays State Tigers at 4:00 p.m. from the Gross Memorial Coliseum in Hays, Kan.
