TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – Olivia Nelson netted 16 points to lead five players in double figures as No. 10-ranked Central Missouri Jennies basketball rolled to an 86-48 victory over the Northeastern State RiverHawks in the final game of the regular season Saturday, Feb. 25, inside the NSU Event Center.
The Jennies (23-3, 19-3 MIAA) will be the number two seed in the MIAA Women's Basketball Championship, presented by Southern Bank, and will play the winner of the Emporia State vs. Central Oklahoma first round contest in a quarterfinal game Thursday evening, March 2, at 8:15 p.m. inside historical Municipal Auditorium in downtown Kansas City, Mo.
Nelson, a redshirt sophomore from Kansas City, Mo., went 4-of-8 from the field and a perfect 8-of-8 at the free-throw line for her team-best 16 points.

Ali Vigil (10) also tallied double digit points in the win, with Smith snagging a team and career-best nine rebounds and Frost dishing out a game-best six assists.
Central Missouri shot 49 percent for the game, going 32-for-66 from the floor, and were 17-of-20 at the free-throw line for 85 percent. The Jennies dominated the glass, outrebounding the RiverHawks (6-20, 3-19 MIAA), 46-23, and outscored Northeastern State in the paint, 50-22, and off turnovers, 24-6.
Ashton Hackler scored 16 points, pacing the RiverHawks.
