CLAREMORE, Okla. – Robin Campbell scored a career-high 22 points leading No. 10-ranked Central Missouri Jennies basketball to a 66-53 victory over the Rogers State Hillcats Thursday, Feb. 23, inside the Claremore Expo Center.
The Jennies (22-3, 18-3 MIAA) are scheduled to close out the regular season with a 1:30 p.m. game at Northeastern State (6-19, 3-18 MIAA) Saturday, Feb. 25, in Tahlequah, Okla.
Campbell, a graduate student from Alliance, Ohio, went a sizzling 7-for-9 from the floor, including a 4-of-6 performance from three-point range, and was a perfect 4-of-4 at the free-throw line for her career-best 22 points.
Brooke Littrell also reached double figures for UCM, netting 13 points while snagging a game-best 10 rebounds for her 10th double-double of the season.
For the game, the Jennies went 25-of-58 from the floor for 43 percent, including going 6-of-17 from beyond-the-arc for 35 percent, and were 10-for-12 at the free-throw line for 83 percent.
Central Missouri outrebounded Rogers State (4-23, 2-19 MIAA), 33-29, and outscored the Hillcats in the paint, 38-26, and off turnovers, 25-11.
Bailey Kliewer scored 15 points, pacing Rogers State.
