ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Central Missouri Jennies (4-2, 0-0) began the HSU/OBU Tournament with a doubleheader sweep of the Ouachita Baptist Tigers (6-7, 0-0) winning game one by a final score of 3-0 and game two by a final score of 7-2 on Saturday, Feb.18, from Sully Anderson Field in Arkadelphia, Ark.
Central Missouri concludes the HSU / OBU Tournament with a doubleheader against Henderson State on Sunday, Feb. 19, with first pitch of game one scheduled for 10:00 a.m. from Dee White Field in Arkadelphia, Ark.
Game 1: Central Missouri 3, Ouachita Baptist 0
The Jens plated a pair of runs in the fifth with an RBI single from
Aubrie McRoberts and a sacrifice fly from
Abbey Fischer while adding an insurance run in the seventh, again off the bat of Fischer.

Paige Petefish picked up the win in the circle with a complete game shutout allowing five hits, striking out five. McRoberts and designated player
MaKenzie Cooper each went 2-3 leading the Jens offensively.
Game 2: Central Missouri 7, Ouachita Baptist 2
After plating a pair of runs in the top of the first from first baseman
Makenzie McAtee, the Jens added three more in the fifth with an RBI double from Abby Allnut followed by an RBI single from
Bailey Lovelace and an RBI groundout from
Breanna Newton.
In the seventh, Allnut would put the game out of reach with an RBI single bringing in a pair of runs as UCM outhit Ouachita Baptist 14-4. Pitcher
Kaylee Diggs picked up the win in the circle allowing four hits, two runs (one earned), and striking out one on 96 pitches.
