WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- The Central Missouri track and field teams sent competitors to two different meets Friday, Feb. 17, with a group going to the Arkansas Qualifier in Fayetteville, Ark., and a group trekking to Maryville, Mo., for the Northwest Missouri Friday Night Lights – Last Chance Qualifier.
Arkansas Qualifier Sprints/Hurdles
- Antonio Lay posted the second-fastest time in indoor school history and ran a personal-best and provisional 21.13 to finish in fourth place in the men's 200m dash. His time ranks third-fastest in NCAA-II this season. Lay also competed in the men's 60m dash, placing second with a provisional time of 6.76.
Arkansas Qualifier Jumps
- Kayla Goodwin placed third in the women's triple jump with a provisional jump of 12.17m (39-11.25).
- Claire Luallen tallied a provisional mark of 5.62m (18-05.25) to finish in fourth place in the women's long jump.
Arkansas Qualifier Pole Vault
- Madi Wulfekotter cleared a provisional height of 4.00m (13-01.50) to finish in fourth place in the women's pole vault.
Friday Night Lights Distance
- Katie Bean ran a personal-best and provisional time of 2:13.54, finishing third in the women's 800m run. Her time ranks ninth-fastest in school history.
- The Mules went 2-3 in the men's 3,000m run as Luke Engel finished runner-up with a personal-best 8:49.75 and Delfino Juarez was third with a personal-best 8:50.27.
Friday Night Lights Sprints/Hurdles
- Liberty Brown ran 9.38 to place third in the women's 60m hurdles.
- The Mules occupied two of the top-three spots in the men's 60m hurdles, as Vincent Wilson ran 8.546 to finish second and Brayden Blackman was third at 8.56.
Friday Night Lights Jumps
- The Mules swept the podium in the men's long jump, as Austin Staib placed first at 6.80m (22-03.75), Loch Louis was second at 6.57m (21-06.75) and Clay Carbajal was third at 6.53m (21-05.25).
- The Jennies went 1-2 in the women's triple jump. Maggie Klover won the event with a mark of 11.66m (38-03.25) and Myah Morris was second with a personal-best 11.33m (37-02.25).
- In the men's high jump, Carter Bell jumped 1.91m (6-03.25) to finish first and Justin Hamrick was second with a mark of 1.86m (6-01.25).
- The Jennies finished first and third in the women's long jump. Aubree Bell won the event with a personal-best mark of 5.10m (16-08.75) while Leah North was third with a mark of 4.86m (15-11.50).
- Cate Cooper placed second in the women's high jump, clearing a personal-best 1.50m (4-11.00).
Friday Night Lights Pole Vault
- Keyleigh Reichert posted a mark of 3.30m (10-10.00) to win the women's pole vault.
- The Mules went 1-3 in the men's pole vault, with Josiah Crooks placing first at 4.60m (15-01.00) and Weston Edwards finishing third at 4.30m (14-01.25) – a personal-best.
Friday Night Lights Throws
- Addison Snowball easily won the men's weight throw, posting a provisional and personal-best throw of 19.21m (63-0.25). That mark is sixth-best in school history.
- Grayce Martin finished third in the women's weight throw with a personal-best mark of 15.47m (50-09.25).
