PAUL, Minn. – Four seed Central Missouri Jennies (25-7, 18-2) swept the fifth seed St. Cloud State Huskies (22-9,13-5) by a final score of 3-0 (25-13, 25-23, 25-20) on Thursday, Nov. 30, in the opening match of the NCAA D-II Central Region Volleyball Tournament inside Gangelhoff Center in St. Paul, Minn.

Kersti Nix (match-high 15 kills on 29 swings for a .414 hitting percentage and four blocks overall) and three of a career-best five service aces from libero
Grace Winkelmann (nine digs overall) taking the set 25-13.
Trailing by five in the second, Central Missouri responded with a 15-4 run thanks to three blocks from right-side hitter
Emma Siron (seven kills on 14 attempts for a .429 attack percentage overall) and a pair of blocks by freshman
Elinor Engel (eight kills and three blocks overall) and middle blocker
Rachel Ziesman (match-high six blocks overall) as they double their advantage with a 25-23 win.
The Jennies claimed their 13th consecutive victory ending the final set on a 5-2 run as Central Missouri outhit the Huskies by a margin of .299 to .204 overall including a .452 to .324 advantage in the final set respectively. Redshirt senior
