Mules Basketball Falls at No. 3 Central Oklahoma 75-62 Thursday

EDMOND, Okla. – The Central Missouri Mules (4-1, 0-1) fell to No. 3 Central Oklahoma Bronchos (6-0, 1-0) by a final score of 75-62 on Thursday, Nov. 30, inside Hamilton Field House in Edmond.  
 
The Bronchos took the lead with the opening basket of the contest and never relinquished as they picked up their sixth victory of the season led by guard Mike Quick's 19 points.

Central Missouri was led by redshirt senior Caleb Nero's 15 points, four rebounds, and two assists. The Tulsa, Okla. native went 6-of-12 from the field including 3-of-8 from beyond the arc.
 
Guard Jalen Knott had 11 points, five rebounds, and two assists while redshirt senior Jordan Hayes grabbed a team-high six rebounds adding five points respectively. Forwards Tim Jordan Jr. (nine points and five rebounds) and Keith Kiner III (three points and three rebounds) recorded two blocks respectively.
 
The Mules tallied 19 bench points on the night led by forward Jack Chapman's eight points and four rebounds, plus junior Raeshaun Ambris added six points on 3-of-4 attempts from the field. Guard KJ Vasser had three points and two rebounds while junior Ben Fritz contributed four rebounds and two points.  
 
UCM returns to the court on Saturday, Dec. 2, as they continue MIAA play against the Newman Jets with tip-off scheduled for 3:30 p.m. from Fugate Gymnasium in Wichita, Kan.
