TIP OFF 
  • Central Missouri Mules basketball returns to the court to host the Park Pirates on Saturday, Nov. 25, with tip-off scheduled for 7:00 p.m. inside the Multipurpose Building in Warrensburg.  
  • The Mules defeated the Missouri S&T Miners (3-1, 0-0) by a final score of 87-62 on Saturday, Nov. 18, for the 2023-24 season home opener inside the Multipurpose Building in Warrensburg.  
  
MEET THE MULES
  • Adam Bohac was named the 25th head coach in the 118-year history of Central Missouri Mules basketball in March of 2023 after 15 seasons as head coach of the Southern Nazarene Crimson Storm where he had an overall record of 312-146 including 221-98 in GAC play making three post season appearances.
  • The Mules are coming into 2023 with eleven of their 15 student-athletes having never stepped on the court for UCM.
  • Central Missouri returns four players from last year's team including guard Jordan Hayes and forwards Jack Chapman, Ben Fritz, and Yafet Haile.
  • The Mules brought in Division I transfers Caleb Nero (North Dakota) and Keith Kinner III (Niagara).
  • Other transfers include Jalen Knott (Alderson Broaddus), Terrance Broughton (Malone), Raeshaun Ambris (Moberly Area CC), and Josh Nwankwo (New Mexico JC).
  • The Mules added five freshman including guards KJ Vasser, Corey Skillman Jr., and Max Dowling, plus, forwards Noah Martin and Tim Jordan Jr.
 
MULES BY THE NUMBERS 
  • Through three games this season, the Mules are averaging 73.7 points per game while shooting 42.5 percent from the field, including 30-percent from beyond the arc and 80-percent from the free-throw line.
  • Central Missouri is averaging 38 rebounds, 10 assists, 5.3 steals, and two blocks per contest.
  • UCM has three players averaging double figure scoring this season including guard Jalen Knott (14 points, 5.7 rebounds, one assist, and one steal per game), redshirt senior Caleb Nero (14 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per contest), and forward Keith Kiner III (12.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game).    
 
SERIES HISTORY VS PARK
  • Saturday night's contest will be the eighth all-time meeting between the Mules and Pirates dating back to the 1915 season as UCM holds a 4-3 advantage including a 3-1 record in Warrensburg. This will be the second contest inside the Multipurpose Building following a 97-62 Mules win during the 1985-86 season.
