ST. CHARLES, Mo. -- Central Missouri Mules Wrestling placed two individuals at the Lindenwood Open Saturday, Nov. 18.
Redshirt Freshman
Jack Lage placed fifth in his bracket at 141-pounds. The Jefferson City native won his first match by pinning Cloud County's Colin Smith in the first period (1:30) and stuck Ouachita Baptist's Caleb Andrews in the second period (4:10). He dropped to Quincy's Sabian Russel in overtime, a sudden victory loss of 25-22, to claim fifth.
Redshirt Sophomore
Gavin Goddard took fourth at 165-pounds. The Rogers, Ark. native received a bye in his first round and techfell Quincy's Jack Miller (18-3). He then loss to Oklahoma State's Jaxen Wright to earn fourth place.Â
The Mules are scheduled to head to Springfield, Mo. Saturday, Dec. 2 for the Drury Open.Â
